What is aerosol spray?
Aerosol spray is a type of dispensing system which creates an aerosol mist of liquid particles. As you can see in the scheme, aerosol spray generally is a metal can that has a spray valve with a deep tube. Inside the can there is a liquid that is under pressure by a gas that is named propellant. The liquid can be one or several phases and consists of the chemical that we want to spray (active ingredient) and also can be contain solvent and liquid gas.
In spraying process the liquid is pushed out the can through a nuzzle due to the pressure of propellant gas.
